St. Agnes 2017

Created by Brian 6 years ago
I returned to the Isles of Scilly with Helen & Eva (and their family) from 27th May - 3rd of June 2017 - 3 years after our first visit and 1 year after our unfortunate trip when Terri was taken ill.

Despite the poor weather forecast we went to Saint Agnes on Monday 29th May. Shortly after we arrived the sun came out and it was quite hot for the rest of the day! 🌞We placed some of Terri's ashes in a crevice in a rock on the beach on the sand bar between Gugh on the main island: Terri's favourite place where she wanted to return last year but couldn't. We all had a paddle there.

We visited all of the islands just as we did in 2014 and, unexpectedly, the weather cheered up for us on every occasion:- the sun shone for Terri! 🌞

We stayed on St Mary's in a house called Shearwater that, strangely, Terri photographed in 2014 although we didn't stay there or even discuss the possibility of doing so:- we have no idea why she photographed it.
