Terri had been saying that the windows needed replacing at the flat so in March 2010 I had the patio doors to the balcony and the back windows in the bedrooms replaced. Terri is very pleased with them.

Terri was attached to her Suzuki Vitara (DPB or "Dippy Bird") but it was becoming old and unreliable, the gearbox breaking down. So on 29th April I bought her Mitmop (MM03VFF: named after her cat, 'Spitty', 'Spit-spot' or Mitmop') - a Nissan Micra SE that she also became very attached to.

Terri liked Newton Ferrers and Noss Mayo, fancying living there, but it was far too expensive. She suggested buying a caravan so on 20th June we bought one, a Lunar, that we kept in a camping field at the top of the village. We had a lot of enjoyment with the "rackavan", kayaking up the creek and up the river Yealm as far as the old railway bridge near her sister's house in Brixton. We also enjoyed walking along the river banks, especially the Woodland Trust woods on the Newton side. Unfortunately, the site owner eventually took our space with lodges so we sold the van to our friend Johnny who keeps it at his farm near Totnes.
