I realised only in the past few days how unusual it is that Terri and I never had an argument. There was no need for argument as we each accommodated the other's foibles: We just flowed aroud one another. An example was that Terri refused to drive my car, which was insured for her to drive; she just didn't like the car so we used her car exclusively and I gave her money for petrol. We could have argued about it - but why bother? Similarly, Terri accepted that I turn off the TV whenever there is sport or adverts on: she thought it peculiar but not worth questioning so she did the same. I remember I had cross words with Terri twice and Terri was annoyed with me twice - including when I locked both of her car keys in the boot! We each accepted having made mistakes and were quickly forgiven.
